Please add support for java.sql.Date in the new Search API.

I’ll have to look but we might as well support java.sql.Timestamp while we’re at it

actually I’ll open another JIRA for supporting java.sql.Timestamp and/or java.sql.Time. For the time being I’m just adding java.sql.Date as requested
